Questions we hear
Do I need a doctor’s order?
In Iowa, you can start without a referral. Your plan may still ask for one, so the front desk checks yours.
Will I have to do things that feel risky?
No. Everything starts small, and a therapist stays beside you. You can stop whenever you like.
Should my son or daughter come?
If you want them to. It often helps to have someone who sees you at home.
How long is a visit?
The first visit is about an hour. Later visits are often shorter.
How many visits will I need?
It depends on what we find, how much you practice at home and what your plan covers. We talk it through at the first visit and revisit it often.
What is a group class like?
A small group, with a therapist and an assistant. Every exercise has a seated version, and you can rest whenever you want.
Can a class come to my community?
Yes. Directors can read how it works on the senior communities page and send us a message.
Do you take Medicare?
Yes, we bill Medicare. We also work with many other plans, and the front desk checks yours before your first visit.
What if I cannot get to the clinic?
Tell the front desk. We can help plan a ride, and many people do part of their care in a class near home.
Who can I call with a question?
Call the front desk. Someone will answer, or call you back the same day.
Still have a question?
Call the front desk or send a message. A person will answer.
